Policy Statement

Our policy regarding refunds, warranty and disclosure statement is below.

Refunds

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

You are not eligible for a refund if you change your mind. A refund may be approved if the item you have purchase is faulty.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.

Warranty

Unless specifically stated for the individual product, our standard warranty is:

New items: 12 months
Pre-owned: 3 months

Special warranties may be applicable (e.g additional student piece of mind warranties)

Disclosure

Robert is employed and/or affiliated with various companies and organisations (including but not limited to the University of Auckland). Robert Ng (trading as Op tech) is a registered sole trader and GST registered with IRD. This is a separate entity operating independently and is separate to his other employers and/or affiliations. The affiliation with other organisations does not represent endorsement by those organisations.

If you are interested in purchasing any equipment and you are current student at UoA, your decision to purchase or not will not affect your relationship with Robert or UoA.

Shipping returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Direct collection of the item for return may be possible in some situations.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
